Beaver - Robert Arthur (Art) Allison, 70, of 314 Pine St. died Tuesday night in the Beaver County Medical Center after a long illness. A World War II Navy veteran. Mr. Allison was born Feb. 14, 1910, in Georgetown, a son of Robert Andrew Allison and Vene B. White Allison. He retired as a structural iron worker. Mr. Allison was a member of the Iron Workers Local 3 in Pittsburgh, the Glasgow Masonic Lodge 485, the New Castle Consistory, the Brighton Township Volunteer Fire Department, the Beaver County Fireman's Relief and the Raccoon Hunters Association and the Chester American Legion Post 121. Besides his wife, Mrs. Della A. Allison, survivors include two sons, Ronald A. Allison and Leslie H. Allison, both at home; two daughters, Miss Cynthia Allison of Beaver and Miss Brenda Allison at home; five brothers, Claude Allison and James Allison, both of Chester, W. Clair Allison of Hookstown, Wilbur Allison of Georgetown and Cecil D. Allison of Barberton; two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Maude) Aten of Inverness, Fla., and Mrs. Robert D. (Virginia) Allison of Lady Lake, Fla. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the J. T. Anderson Jr. and Son Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert J. Anderson of the Vanport United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, Pa. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
