Vera May McMullen, 94, of Paris, died Saturday, April 15, at Monroe Manor Nursing Home in Paris.
Mrs. McMullen was born August 11, 1905, at Madison, the daughter of E. H. and Martha E. McGinnis Shadwell. She married Bert Atterbury on March 29, 1929, at Hannibal. He preceded her in death in 1970. She married Milton McMullen on August 21, 1978, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sisters, Madge Nordlund and Jennie Chapman, both of Paris, Enid Crim, Hannibal, and Fay Smith, Tuscon, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McMullen was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Edward and John D. Shadwell; and two sisters, Erma Shuck and Lillie Ruth Long.
Mrs. McMullen was employed at the Hannibal Shoe Factory for several years.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 18, at the Agnew Funeral Home in Paris. Burial was at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Paris.
