Mrs. Sykes immediately picked the little one out and phoned for the doctor who found the little one in such bad condition that it was thought best to take him to the hospital where he would have the best of medical treatment and care.
Early Wednesday morning word was received that the little sufferer had died.
The funeral services were held Thursday.
The grief-stricken parents have the deepest sympathy of the entire community in this time of sorrow.
