Evelyn Doble Patton 82, 905 Vine, Kelso, died Oct 14, 1948 at home. Born May 27, 1866 in Sumner County Maine. Member of Central Christian Church in Kelso. Survivors include two sons, J.L. Mooney of Rainier and E.R. Mooney of Portland, and a sister, Mrs. E.E. Griswold of Carrolls. Arrangements are pending. Reardon Funeral Home is in charge.

Evelyn was predeceased by her daughter, Faye Patton Kennedy. They were buried beside each other.

Evelyn's family moved from Maine in 1868, spent two years in Illinois and then settled in Sac County, Iowa. She married Henry J. Mooney on June 06, 1886 in Iowa and they eventually moved to Cowlitz County, Washington. Their sons Eldred and John were born in Iowa.

Sometime after the move to Washington, Henry and Evelyn divorced. She married John "Jack" Clarence Patton on August 06, 1902. Jack died October 15, 1915. Together they had one daughter, Faye Evelyn born January 20, 1904.
