Her obituary printed in The New York Herald said she died of heart disease. The funeral was held at the home of her son, William H Romaine, at 85 Henry Street. She inherited property from her grandmother allowing the family to move to Westchester County but after her husband's death she moved back to NYC and lived with her son. She is my third great grandmother.
