MAYFIELD — Andy R. Adams, 89, of Mayfield died at 9:40 p.m. Friday at Green Acres Healthcare Facility in Mayfield.
Mr. Adams was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are four sons, Timmy Lee Adams, Richard A. Adams, Ricky Adams and Andy Adams Jr., all of Mayfield; one daughter; Donna Mae Penney of Mayfield; one brother, Teddy Adams of Mayfield; one sister, Sue Gaylord of Billings, Mont.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Omega Louise Adams; five brothers; one sister; and one great-grandson. His parents were Newt and Ida Mae Nerron Adams.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bazzell Cemetery in Calloway County with the Rev. Keith Allred officiating.
There will be no visitation. Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
