In 1913 Callie and Simon Douglas Beasley, 1887-1917, Texas were married in Rains County, Texas. Beasley was the son of Drucilla Erria Beasley, b. 1856 Tennessee and Simon D. Beasley, Sr., b: 1844 Mississippi. The young couple made their home in Hoyt, Wood County, Texas. Professionally, Beasley was a miner and by 1917 he had advanced to the position of Mine Superintendent for an operation near Alba, Wood County. Because of the extended dust exposure attendant to mining, he developed emphysema. On Christmas Eve of 1917 he succumbed to pneumonia. He was survived by his young widow and two daughters born of their marital union.

2. Curtis Chaney, b: 1913, Texas
To this blended family, Callie and Robert added four daughters and one son:

They lived in Alba, Wood County, Texas until his death in the Spring of 1948. He died in Cosby Hospital, Grand Saline, Van Zandt County, Texas and was buried in Golden Cemetery, Golden, Wood County, Texas on March 28, 1948.
Callie relocated in Dallas to live near her children. She died of cancer on August 12, 1962 in Dallas, Texas and was also buried in Golden Cemetery, Golden, Wood County, Texas.
