He was born in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, the second son and third child of Drucilla Erria Beasley, b. 1856 Tennessee and Simon D. Beasley, Sr., b: 1844 Mississippi.

According to his death certificate, his remains were interred in Forest Park Cemetery, Greenville, Hunt County, Texas on December 26, 1917.
