Ruby Bulger, the 7th child of William and Amanda Bulger was born in Dadeville, Alabama, December 12, 1886. Her sister Henri Bulger says of her: "Ruby was the baby of our family, petite blonde, educated in public school and married A. K. Parker April 8, 1908, they moved to Columbus, Georgia, where her husband was engaged in newspaper business, after a few months residence in Columbus they went West and finally located in Tucson, Arizona, where their only child, A. K. Parker Jr. was born.(Jan. 13 1914)
Four years later Ruby died. - Emma, my eldest sister, was with her,and brought the boy home with her. He lived in Alabama, until he was 17 years of age and then returned to Tucson, to live with his father. Ruby was possessed of wonderful energy and was practical, always optimistic and the sunshine of her home.
