She grew up and on April 29, 1872 Rebecca married John G. Roberts in Irwin County, Georgia. They were blessed with 8 children, James Henry, William M, my grandfather, Mary Jane, Richard Clayton nicknamed Boy, Nancy, Isaac, Ashley L, and John G. Roberts. Rebecca and John had a happy marriage. She passed away on December 9, 1893 in Irwin County and was laid to rest at the New Valley Grove Cemetery in Irwin County, Georgia, USA.
