Pine Grove United Methodist Church, Darlington County, South Carolina near Timmonsville (Florence County). The church is located on South Carolina 340. The cemetery is behind the church. The old Pine Grove Methodist is located less than a mile away. John was superintendent of the Sunday School, and his son Luther was assistant superintendent.
