Mrs. Bessie Jane Warner, wife of John H. Warner, RD6, died yesterday at her home. She was 78 years old.
Born on Oct. 16, 1887, in Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Amanda Diehl Jumper. She lived all her life in Cumberland County.
In addition to her husband to whom she was married for 58 years, she is survived by three sons, Harry A., RD6; Elmer R., RD3, and Floyd E., RD4; four daughters, Mrs. Emory Comp and Mr. Marlin Raudabaugh, both of RD6; Mrs. William E. Evans of 352 West Penn Street and Mrs. Merle I. Rhoads, MR1; one brother, Frank Jumper, MR, Mt. Holly Springs; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 South Hanover Street. The Rev. Jacob F. Hoover, pastor of the Triumph Church of God, Long's Gap Road, will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens.
