Born March 26, 1919 in Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Bessie Jane Jumper Warner. She was the widow of William E. Evans, who died June 13, 1978.
A Protestant, Mrs. Evans retired from Carlisle Tire and Rubber Company after many years of service.
Surviving are her companion of 18 years, Richard Dyarman of Carlisle; one brother, Elmer R. Warner of Carlisle; two sisters, Florence E. Comp of Carlisle and Mildred J. Rhoads of Ickesburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry A. and Floyd E. Warner, and two sisters, Vernal Barker and Ardella Raudabaugh.
Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Jeffrey W. Kettering officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Township. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
