Rova Marie Wirth, 68, of 31770 Fayeteville DR., Shedd, pass. away on the even. of Mar. 4th at her home, follow. an extend. illness.
Final rites were conducted at 10am., Sat., in the Fisher Fun. Home chapel, w/ internment in Willamette Mem. Park. The fam. req. that those who wished may meet them following the serv., at the Shedd United Meth. church.
The fam. also sugg. those who desire may contrib. memorials in her name to the Am. Cancer Soc.
The REv. William Tarbell, pastor of the Oakville-Willamette Unit. Meth. Church, officiated during the serv. Mr. and Mrs. Rob Booth were vocalists; and Irene (Mrs. Carl) Newport, was organist.
Mrs. Wirth was b. in Oakville on Nov. 10, 1912. She was the granddaughter of pioneer families: Marion B. and Isabell Faulkner, and Henry Clay and Adeline (Pugh) Jackson.
Mrs. Wirth had lived in Scio as a young person, grad. from hgh school there in 1932. She also resided in Monroe, Blue Den, Alpine, Crabtree, Tangent and Oakville before coming to Shedd.
She was married Mar. 9, 1935, at Scio, to Robert L. Wirth, who survives.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wirth is surv. by: two sons, Dennis and Don Wirth of Tangent; three daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. Dick) Grossnicklas of Lyons; Diane Ashton of Myrtle Creek and Darlene Miller of Missoula, Montana; a brother, Lyle V. Jackson of Shedd, two sisters, Mrs. Lucile McMains of Lebanon and Mrs. Ruby Rickards of Redding, Ca. and these grandchildren:
Robin Grosnicklaus of Corv., Scot Grossnicklaus of Ithica, NY., Brian Grossnicklaus of Lyons, Brenda Miller of Corv., Elias Ashton of Myrtle Creek, and Lisa, Telly, and Kyle Wirth all of Tangent.
Mrs. Wirth was a member of the Willamette-Oakville United Presbyterian Church, the Halsey Christian Church, and Women for Agriculture.
