Lillian Marie (Willey) Houglum,77, 2000 4th St. NE died of natural causes Christmas Eve. in a local hospital.
Her funeral is Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church followed by burial in Highland Cemetery. Croxford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or the American Lung Association 825 Helena Ave. Helena, MT 59601.
She was born January 15, 1921 at Lehigh in rural Judith Basin County and later moved with her family to Great Falls, where she attended Great Falls High School. She moved to Sidney in 1952 and married William Houglum there in 1956. He survives at the family home in Great Falls.
She was employed by several businesses in Sidney, includint the Federal Credit Union. She worked in the main office of the Richland National Bank and later was manager of the bank's drive up branch. She retired from the bank after 25 years of service in 1986. She and her husband moved to Great Falls in 1992.
She was a member of the Sidney Lodge of the Sons of Norway and served as district secretary of the 4th District of the Sons of Norway. She also was member of Moose Lodge, buco card group and the Ladies Women's Missionary League of her church.
Her hobbies included fishing and camping, sewing, quilting, playing cards, bowling and baking for everyone.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughter Donna M. Delaney of Great Falls and Diana L. Lorenz of Tacoma, Wash; a sister, Vera Mans of Great Falls; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren
