John Willey Dies, Rites Thursday
Funeral services for John Willey Sr.., 68 501 2nd st NW will be Thursday afternoon at 3 at Croxford's Morturary with Rev. Vernon K. Hanks officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Willey died late Monday at his home after a long illness.
Born January 15, 1895 at Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Willey came to Montana in 1917 and worked in mines until 1927 when he came to Great Falls. He worked in the mines in this area for some tine. With his wife he managed the Blackstone Apartment here for 13 years prior to retiring about three years ago.
Survivors are the widow Martha; a son John Willey Jr., Great Falls; daughters, Mrs. Lillian Houglum, Sidney; Mrs. Vera Mans, Wolf Point and Mrs. Hazel Whitledge, Kimball, Neb., 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and four sisters, Mrs Susie Doherty, Fairfield, Iowa, Mrs. Rose Rainforth, Mrs. Helen Erickson and Mrs. Golda Philben all of Tacoma, Wash.
