Sarah Lou Harris Hawkins, 69, of Madisonville, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Blount Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Clifton Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hawkins; her father, Charlie Cleveland Harris; and her grandparents, Joseph and Maggie Ash and Jim and Ellen Harris.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Judy and John Tsiboukas of Birmingham, Ala., and Vicki and Roger Raper, Deborah Hawkins, Angie and Bobby Taylor, Susan Dean and Mike Mansfield, Charlie Hawkins, Mark Hawkins and Rebecca Hawkins, all of Madisonville; grandchildren, Amanda Crowder, Chad Raper, Audrea Raper, Joann Masteller, Norman Masteller, Timmy Masteller, Roy Masteller (special grandson) and Johnnie Dean; great-grandchildren, Johnathon "Bubba" Pollack and Dakota "Boo" Crowder; her mother, Mary Ethel Harris; and siblings and their spouses, Jack Edward Harris, Joe Henry Harris, Clyde Cleve Harris, Glenn Wade and Linda Harris and Lonna Mae and Robert White, all of Athens, Margaret Hawkins of Cleveland, Patricia Jean and David Phillips of Boaz, Ala., Margie Elizabeth and Frank Couey of Riceville, Anna Mae and Buddy Lankford of Andrews, N.C., and Dorothy and Frankie Sewell of Tellico Plains.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Biereley-Hale Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael McLemore officiating. Burial will be noon Saturday in Hopewell Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Biereley-Hale Funeral Home of Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
