RUPERT DOUGLAS DEAL

Rupert Douglas Deal of California, died Wednesday, April 21, 1976 at a VA Hospital in Long Beach, California . He was 61 years of age, a former truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II. He was the son of William P. Deal and the late Anna Brannon Deal.

Services were held Saturday, April 24, 1976 at Felton Cemetery with Rev. C. Dick Reese, Jr. officiating.

Survivors include his father, William T. Deal, Montezuma; three brothers, Heyward Deal of Macon, Larry Deal, Athens, Merrill Deal of Fairfax, S.C.; seven sisters, Mrs. M. D. Murphy of Capps, Alabama , Mrs. C. R. Smith of Albany, Ga., Mrs. H. D. Horne of Moultrie, Ga., Mrs. W. D. Kenney of Athens, Ga., Mrs. Wm. T. Roberts and Mrs. J. H. Andrews of Montezuma, Mrs. J. B. Copp of Macon; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.
