Born the son of Young Marion Langford and Elizabeth Jane Nutt Langford he married Georgia Ann Bouknight (1873 – 1968) and their children were Marion Christopher (Bud) Langford (1892 – 1972), James Clarence Langford (1893 – 1987), Pearl Langford (1896 – 1981), Ola Bell Langford (1898 – 1990), Jessie Mae Langford (1900 – 1998), Elizabeth John Langford (1902 – 1997), Nettie Lou Langford (1904 – 1994), Rufus E. Langford (1906 – 1978), Ewel Thomas Langford (1908 – 1993), Naomi Langford (1911 – 2002), and Hazel Laverne Langford (1916 – 2006). After moving with his parents from Mississippi at a young age he lived in Upshur County, Texas the remainder of his life in the Rhonesboro Community. Biography by Ron Wade
