Born in Upshur County, Texas, the son of Thomas Franklin Langford (1867 – 1963) and Georgia Ann Bouknight (1873 – 1968). He married Mollie Hattie Carroll (1898 – 1973)on 25 Dec 1915 and their children were Carroll Dean Langford (1919 – 2001) and Hugh Wayne Langford (1924 – 1979). They lived their lives in the Little Mound Community very near where his grandfather, Young Marion Langford lived.
