Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Hartenstein Mortuary, 2nd at Franklin St., New Freedom. Interment in St. John's (Sadler's) Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday evening from 7 to 9.

Mrs. Sallie Orwig
NEW FREEDOM - Mrs. Sallie A. Jones Orwig, New Freedom RD 1, died Friday at 10:10 a.m. at Memorial Osteopathic Hospital, York. The widow of Thomas W. Orwig, she was 88.
Mrs. Orwig was born in Stewartstown, a daughter of the late Emanuel and Margaret Hammers Jones. She was a member of St. John's (Sadler's) Lutheran Church and the Ladies' Auxiliary of Shrewsbury Fire Company. She was a lifelong resident of the area.
She is survived by four children, Emory C. and Mervin H. Orwig, both of Shrewsbury; Edna Orwig, New Freedom RD 1, and Evans G. Orwig, York RD 8; also six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Seibel, York RD 7, and Mrs. Emma Rohrbaugh, Glen Rock RD 2.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Hartenstein Mortuary, Second at Franklin Streets, New Freedom. Interment will be in St. John's (Sadler's) Cemetery. The Rev. Edward M. Andrews, Mrs. Orwig's pastor, will officiate.
