Maxine Andrus Wilde, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2010.

Born September 14, 1919 in Marion, Utah to Willard O. and Gwendolyn Williams Andrus. Married Jean W. Wilde on October 30, 1943 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Maxine was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her first calling in the church came as a freshman in High School. She was called to play the organ for the Y.W.M.I.A. She served her first mission to the Western States in 1941.

She worked hard as a wife and a mother, tending and ironing for others to bring in a little extra money. She raised a beautiful daughter and seven wonderful sons. She and Jean served two more missions together, one to England in 1982 and one to the Philippines a few years later. Maxine loved to make bread and play Rook.
