Florence L. Curfman, 84, of Holbrook R.D. 1, died at 7:40 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 1987, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 17, 1902, in Bluff, Jackson Township, a daughter of the late Mathis B. and Rocella Thralls Hunnell.

She lived most of her life in Jackson Township. She was a resident of the Curry Memorial Home for about the past seven years.

She was a member of the former Macedonia Baptist Church, where she had served as a Sunday school teacher.

She was married to J. Leslie Curfman, who died April 29, 1963.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Allen (June) Phillips of Spraggs, Mrs. Ralph (Vivian) Tedrow of New Brighton, Mrs. James (Delores) Fox of Moundsville, W. Va., and Faye Whipkey of Brave; five sons, Donald Curfman and Cecil Curfman, both of Fairview, W. Va., Duane Curfman of Cookeville, Tenn., Eugene Curfman of Ludlow, Ill. and Kenneth Curfman of Waynesburg R. D. 5; 41 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two sons, Glen and Lloyd Curfman; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Brant and Ansley Hunnell.
