Henry Ahmann, of Richmond (Minnesota), died there at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John C (Monica) Braegelmann, Saturday (21 September 1935) at 11:45 o'clock. His death came after a lingering illness. Mr. Ahmann died on his 55th wedding anniversary. He was born November 1, 1855 in Westphalen, Germany and was 80 years of age. On September 21, 1880 he married Anna Noll at St. Martin and the couple resided their until 1919, moving to Richmond at that time.
One son, John, and a daughter, Blanche, preceded their father in death. With the widow there are nine surviving children -- Henry and Mrs. John Schoenborn, Mahnomen; Martin, Minneapolis; Al of Sauk Centre; Mrs. Math (Ella) Gully, St. Martin; Hugo and Mrs. Frank Meyer, St. Cloud; Mrs. John (Monica) Braegelmann and Mrs. Fred (Anna) Buermann, Richmond.
Mr. Ahmann belonged to the St. Joseph societies at both Richmond and St. Martin.
Funeral services will be held on Tuedsay morning at 9:30 o'clock at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church at Richmond and interment will be made there. Until then the remains are at the home of Mrs. Braegelmann.
