Former St. Martin Farmer To Be Buried Friday After Requiem
Theodore Ahmann, born January 13, 1862, at Westphal, Germany, died Tuesday (5 April 1932) evening at 6:30 o'clock at his home in Richmond (Minnesota). He was 70 years of age.
Mr. Ahmann came to this country when he was 14 years of age and later married Appolonia Noll in 1887 at St. Martin, and the couple operated a farm there until 1913 when they rertired and moved into the village of Richmond.
The former St. Martin farmer leaves two children -- one son, Joseph, at Lidgerwood, N. D.; and a daughter, Katherine, of Richmond.
Brothers and sisters surviving Mr. Ahmann are Henry of St. Martin; Joseph, Foxholm, N.D.; Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Klaser, Los Angeles; Mrs. Joseph (Josephine) Berghoff, Yakima, Wash.; Mrs. Joseph (Magdalena) Waggoner, St. Cloud; and Mrs. Mike (Rose) Nierenhausen, Roscoe.
Funeral services will be held at the SS Peter and Paul Catholic church at Richmond on Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock, and interment will be made in the parish cemetery.
Note: Theodor Ahmann was also survived by his wife, Apollonia Noll Ahmann. She died April 1955.
