Thomas Groves Denning was born 3-21-1808 near Gleason, Tenn--Weakley Co. to Andrew and (Miss. Groves) his wife. (Her last name would be a part of names for future generations to come).
Thomas grew up, fell in love with Miss Susan Busby, daughter of Lucy and William Busby. He was 24, and she was19 when they married in Sumner Co. Tenn. on Aug. 14, 1834. They lived on his fathers plantation in Henry Co. Tenn.
He died Aug. 8, 1876 in Weakley Co. Tenn. @ 68 years 4 months.
Susan died Nov. 28, (1876). Both of them are buried in the Dinning Family Cemetery.

Thomas Jefferson Denning-- b. Sept. 5, 1842 on the plantation in Henry Co. Tenn. He married Mary Frances Bragg on Dec. 21, 1869 in Weakley Co. Tenn. He died Nov. 4, 1904 Gleason, Tenn. Weakley Co. She died Feb 3, 1940. Both are buried in Hopewell Cemetery Weakley Co. Tenn.

Robert Breedlove Denning--b. 1846 ?? He married Artemissa Heath (her father was Esquire Harrison Heath of Weakley Co. or Henry Co. Tenn). around July 19, 1878 in Weakley Co. Tenn. They lived around Gleason, Tenn.and had 5 children, and then moved somewhere in Tx. Artemissa's sister, Jennie Heath, married Robert's younger brother, Isaac Newton.

Isaac Newton Denning-- b. 1851 . Married Jennie Euphrain Heath, issued Aug. 22, 1878 Weakley Co. Tenn. They had 6 children and later moved around the San Antonio, Tx. area where they probably died.

Julia A. Denning--b. 1855. She was red-headed. She married a Mr. Dunham and then a Mr. Edwards. She ended up in Houston, Tx. with a bunch of children and lived to be nearly 80 years old
