Civil War Soldier: Enos mustered into service on 8 Dec 1862 as a Private serving the Union Army. On 5 Sep 1862 he enlisted in Company D, New Hampshire 12th Infantry Regiment. He was promoted to Full Corporal on 20 Jan 1964, and on 1 Jun 1865 he was promoted to Full Sergeant. Enos mustered out of service on 21 Jun 1865 at Richmond, Wise, Virginia.
