She and Louis Herman Laushke were married 3 August 1937 at St. Luke Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters.
She was a pianist and organist for St. Luke Lutheran Church from her teenage years until her late 70s. She was a longtime member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
Survived by six daughters - Lorita A. Dieterichs and husband Ed of Lakeside City, Carol J. Coates and husband Ray of Longview, Pamela K. Marten and husband Harry of Wichita Falls, Mary M. Whitsett of Plano, Louanne M. Grode and husband, Tom of Bakersfield, CA; Ellen R. Risher and husband, Bill of Grapevine; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
