Mr. Jeske died at his home, three miles north of Olney.

He moved to the United States at the age of 17. He landed in New York and then sailed to Galveston. He settled at Austin County and in 1900 moved to Archer County, north of olney.

Survived by his wife; five sons - Eldor Jeske of Oklahoma City, OK, Ewald Jeske of Riesel; Arnold Jeske, a prisoner of War of the Germans; Oswald Jeske and Gerhardt Jeske, both of Olney; seven daughters - Mrs. Charles Vogtsberger of Wichita Falls, Mrs. W.A. Rosenfield of Olney, Mrs. W.A. Palster of Benjamin, Mrs. Richard Palster of Westover, Mrs. W.A. Barlau of Hamilton, MN; Mrs. Martin Rosenfeldt of Wichita Falls; Mrs. Louis Lavschke of Olney; 33 grandchildren; one sister - Mrs. Albert Dahse of Olney.
