George W. FLEAGLE, 95, lifelong resident of Thurmont, MD, died Sunday, Dec 21 at Delmar Gardens Nursing Home, St Louis, MO, where he had been for the past two years.
He was the husband of Carrie Annabelle (Barthlow) who died Oct 1974.
Born Dec 30, 1884 in Frederick County, whe was the son of Henry Clay and Lillie (Creager) FLEAGLE.
He was preceded in death by two sons: Harold and William E.
He is survived by an adopted daughter, Mrs. Violet KIRSTEN of Baltimor
and daughter-in-law, Rachael FLEAGLE, Thurmont.
Also surviving are three grandchildren: Joseph FLEAGLE, Chesterfield, MO; Mrs. Carolyn JAMES, Spotsylvania, VA; and Mrs. Rebecca RILEY, Baltimore; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral is Saturday, Dec 27; interment in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmont.
