Mrs Virgie Florence Freeze, 80, died yesterday morning at the Gateway Nursing Home. She had formerly resided with her daughter , Mrs John Crout at 325 Central Ave, this city.
Born in Thurmont, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lillie (Creager) Fleagle, and the widow of Wilbur W Freeze. She was a member of Grace EUB Church of this city.
Surviving besides her daughter are sons, Stanley, Victor and Henry of Hagerstown, and Ralph of Los Angeles, Calif. Additional survivors include nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Charles Fleagle, Baltimore, and George Fleagle, Thurmont.
Friends may call at the Krauss funeral home tonight between 7 and 9 pm and at the Creager funeral home, Thurmont, Saturday evening from 7 to 9pm. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3pm at the Creager Funeral home, Thurmont, Rev G I Rider will officiate, with interment in United Brethren Cemetery.
