Harry Hoover Hilliard, 70, 8206 West 211 Highway, Luray, died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville.
Mr. Hilliard was born Aug. 27, 1928, at Stanley, and was a son of
the late Grafton Burgess Hilliard and Mary Nancy Jenkins.
He was owner and operator of Trucking & Excavating.
Survivors include four sisters, Pauline H. Stroupe, Mary Magdeline
McDaniel and Ruby H. Discala, all of Stanley, and Naomi H. Shuler, Shenandoah; and a brother, C. Earl Hilliard, Stanley.
The Rev. Tony Cubbage and the Rev. Clyde Champion will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bradley Funeral Home Inc.
Burial will be Saturday in the Hilliards Chapel Cemetery, Stanley.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening at the
funeral home.
