He attended Monticello Arkansas A. and M., Freed-Hardeman College. He was a carpenter by trade. He preached on radio programs in Gallipolis, Ohio and New Martinsville, W. Va. His special work was in personal work with small congregations to help build them up. In 1959, he was living in Wadsworth, Ohio and preaching for the Wadsworth church of Christ.
