Forrest Brown

Forrest James A.Brown,43, of Route 3,died Tuesday morning in Waynesboro,Community Hospital.

He was born on Nov.3,1938, in Augusta County, a son of Ruby Morris Brown of Waynesboro, and the late Walter Clarence Brown.

He was a member of Glen Kirk Presbyterian Chapel and was employed for 14 years with the city of Waynesboro at the time of his death.

In addition to his mother,survivors include his wife,Dorothy Frazier Brown,three Daughters,Mrs.David (Karen) Bailey of Waynesboro,Miss Brenda Lee at home and Miss Sharon Sue Brown of Eustis,Fla, one sister Mrs.Warren (Joyce) Bryant of Waynesboro,two brothers,Clarence Gene Brown of Waynesboro and Clinton H. Brown of Mint Springs.

He was preceded in death by one son,Forrest James A.Brown,Jr. in 1962.

Active pallbearers will be Henry Roadcap,Homer Fraizer,Carl Kidd and Mr.Brown's nephews.

A funeral will be held at 11a.m.Friday in the chapel of McDow Funeral Home,conducted by Dr John Kelsay and Dr.J Whitner Kennedy,Interment will be in Glen Kirk Presbyterian cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be employees of the Waynesboro City shops.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tomorrow night at the funeral home.His wife also will receivefriends at the home of David Bailey,510 Quadrangle Apartments,and his mother will receive friends at the home of Warren Bryant,Maryland Ave.extension.
