WAYNESBORO- Clarence Eugene Brown 65, of Rt.3,Waynesboro,went to be with the Lord early Saturday morning,April 10,1999,at his home.
He was born June 2,1933,in Waynesboro,a son of Walter and Ruby Morris Brown.
Mr.Brown was a member of the Waynesboro Moose lodge, and was assistant Fire chief of Dooms Fire Department for 6 Years.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister,Joyce Bryant, a brother Forrest Brown, and a grandson,Shane Campbell.
Surviving are his wife Mary Tinsley Brown of Waynesboro,two daughters, all of Waynesboro,4 sons and 3 daughters,all of Waynesboro brother,Clinton Brown of Staunton,16 grandchildren,6 great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of McDow Funeral Home by the Rev.Dennis Bradley,Entombment will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be P.J.Louk,Ralph Brown,Freddie Dameron,Dale,Gary and Steven Bryant.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
Memorial Donations may be made to the hospice of the Piedmont,1290 Seminole Trail,Charlottesville,Va 22901.
