Mrs.Margaret Nannie Layne,71, of 1812 Shenandoah Ave. died Tuesday morning in Waynesboro Community Hospital.
She was born in Augusta County Feb. 10,1908, a daughter of the late James and Eliza Robertson Fisher.
She was a member of Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband,Irvin Layne and a number of nieces and nephews.She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Etter funeral Home,conducted by the Rev.William C.Brown,with interment in Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Avtive pallbearers are; Woodie Lawhorne,T.R.Craig,Robert L.Fisher,Thomas A.Fisher,Howard Carter and Donald Andrews.
Honorary pallbearers are; Donnie Fisher,Ronnie Fisher,Mike Moser,Roy Fleeman,William T.Crickenberger,Alvin Layne,Billy Thurston,Thomas O. Madison,Douglas Purdue and Dr.Gilmer C.Ayers.
