Mrs. Bennett Dies; Rites Wednesday
Mrs. Orville Bennett, 67, of Albia, died Sunday at Ottumwa hospital.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pilkington, she was born at Foster, Iowa. Her marriage to Mr. Bennett took place October 12, 1912, and their home was at 508 Fourth Avenue.
Survivors are her husband and six children, Mrs. Albert Hunter, Gillette, Wyo., Marvin Anderson of Chariton, William Anderson of Ottumwa, Mrs. Harry Alvor of Mason City, Harold Bennett of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Ed Wilson of Albia. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Anderson of Albia and Mrs. Mary Rheuport of Des Moines, and 11 grandchildren.
The body is at Lewis Funeral home. Services will be Wednesday at First Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Donald C. Bissinger, pastor, and burial will be in Oak View cemetery.
