Marvin Pilkington, Former Hocking Man, Dies in Des Moines
Marvin Pilkington, a former Monroe county resident, died this morning in Des Moines, according to word received by Albia relatives.
Mr. Pilkington formerly lived at Hocking for many years, leaving three years ago to make his home in Des Moines. His wife died about six years ago at Hocking. Surviving are two daughters, Margaret and Mary Jane, and a son, Thomas, all of Des Moines; four sisters, Mrs. Pete Anderson, Mrs. John Morgan and Mrs. Orval Bennett of Albia and Mrs. Marion Rheuport of Des Moines; and a brother, Malcome Pilkington of Flaggstaff, Ariz.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been made but relatives said services will probably be in Albia.

Pilkington Funeral Held Here Saturday
Services were held at the Albia Methodist church Saturday afternoon for Marvin Pilkington, former Hocking resident, who died suddenly in Des Moines Thursday. Burial was in Oak View cemetery.
Services were conducted by William Holland of Centerville.
