Eugene C. Marsh
Eugene C. Marsh, 62, Rt. 1, Box 245, Bristol, died Monday afternoon at his residence.
Mr. Marsh was born May 15, 1908 in Bristol Township, the son of late Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Marsh. He received his education in Bristol Township and spent his entire life there.
He married Miss June Nants, Nov. 14, 1934 in Woodstock, Ill.
Mr. Marsh was employed as a salesman by the Lyons and Ryan Ford Dealers, Antioch, Ill., and also owned and operated Gene's Lawn and Garden Shop, Hwy. 50, Bristol Township.
He was a member of the Pleasant Prairie United Methodist Church; past master of the Washburn Masonic Lodge 145, F & AM of Bristol; and past patron of the Bristol Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star 164.
Survivors are his wife; and two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Ruby) Bennett and Mrs. Frances (Mae) Bennett, both of Zion Ill.
Mr. Marsh was preceded in death by a son, Norman, Aug. 18, 1957, and by a sister, Mrs. Mildred Foulke.
