He was born in Augusta County on April 24,1958,a son of The Rev Joseph Madison Jackson and Nadine Christine Fisher Jackson.
Mr.Jackson was last employed at American Safety Razor Co,where he was laid off several weeks ago.He attended Hammond Chapel Pentecostal Church in Staunton and was a Veteran of the U.S.Navy.
Besides his parents,he is survived by his wife Terry Lynn Caywood of Staunton;one son Travis Madison Jackson,two brothers Samuel Joseph Jackson of Grottoes and David Allen Jackson at home;two sisters Ms.Vicky E.Jackson and Rebecca J.Marshall both of Waynesboro, a half-brother,Jerry Madison Jackson of Waynesboro;one niece and three nephews.
A Funeral will be held at 10a.m.tommorrow in the chapel of Etter Funeral Home,conducted by the Rev.John Chaffee,with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Jerry Jackson,Timmy Arey,James Tillman,Gary Bosser,Donnie Mason,Shannon Fitzgerald,Johnny Mader and David Wade.Honorary pallbearers will be cousins.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening at Etter Funeral Home.There will be no public viewing of the body.
