Jerry Madison Jackson, 50, of 404 Crestwood Apartments, died Monday (June 9, 1997) at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
He was born July 28, 1946, in Waynesboro, a son of Joseph M. Jackson and Naomi Campbell Fisher.
He was a member of Orange Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one nephew.
In addition to his parents survivors include six brothers, Ronald W. Fisher of Lyndhurst, Sammy J. Jackson of Waynesboro, Time E. Fisher of Charlottesville, Randy D. Fisher of Nellysford, David A. Jackson of Waynesboro, and Mickey D. Fisher of Waynesboro; three sisters, Chris Fisher of Waynesboro, Vicky Jackson of Stanley, and Becky J. Marshall of Mount Sidney.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter-Reynolds Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Robbie Meadows, Billy Clinedinst, Nelson Hughes, David Wirtanen, William Daughtry and Larry Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tracy Campbell, Tony Cooper, Billy Cooper, and friends and nephews attending the service.
