Nadine C. Jackson Mrs.Nadine Christine Jackson,55,loving mother,of Route 3,died Thursday (Dec.14) in the University of Virginia Hospital.
She was born on Aug.24,1934,in Charlottesville,a daughter of Lionel C. and Cleo Victoria Shifflett Fisher.
Mrs.Fisher was a former employee of General Electric Co. for 33 years.She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith Church.
On Sept. 4,1955, she was married to Joseph M.Jackson in Fishersville by the late Howard E. Truitt.
In addition to her husband,survivors include two sons and two daughters,one sister Thelma Farrar of Waynesboro,three brothers,Calvin W.Fisher and Thomas A.Fisher both of Waynesboro, a brother of Hampton; six grandchildren,and a daughter in law and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs.Jackson was preceded in death by her brother,Alfred F.Fisher,and four sisters,Eleanor Fisher,Delma Fisher,Beatrice Fisher and Ethel Fisher.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 1;30p.m. Saturday in Augusta Memorial Park by the Rev.David Witt.
Active pallbearers will be Randy Garrison,Orsby Madison,Buddy Gibson,William E.Johnson,Ray Marshall,Randy Arey and Steve Arey.Honorary Pallbearers will be friends and former co-workers at Genicom.The Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home.
