On august 13, 1893 a boy child was born to the wedlock of Mobley and Ella Reed Curvey,his name McKinley Curvey.He was the first child.
He united with the Brewington Baptist Church at an early age under Rev. S. A. Keel.
He was a veteran of World War I.
He united with the South Union Baptist Church in 1959 under Rev. Lacefield. He remained faithful until his illness. He spent a great portion of his life in California.
