Anthony Beecher: Boonville-Anthony Beecher, 89, former Boonville resident living in 4988 McConnell St., Lake Worth, Florida died Sunday at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Lake Worth, where he had been a patient since September 5th, after being uninjured in a fall.

Born at Fish Creek, Lewis County, September 11th, 1888, Mr. Beecher was the son of John and Elizabeth Kuffler Beecher and spent his younger life near Mohawk Hill, where he attended St. Michael's School.

He operated a farm at Mohawk Hill for many years before moving to Boonville, where he worked as a carpenter and builder with his late brother, Henry Beecher. In 1948 the two brothers moved to Florida, where they built several homes. Mr. Beecher lived summers in Boonville and after moving to Florida.

He was a former member of St. Joseph's Church, Boonville.

Surviving are several neices and nephews.

The funeral will be at 9:00am Wednesday at the Trainor Funeral Home and 9:30 in St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Mohawk Hill.

Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday.
