Thelma Best, the four year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.V. Best, passed away last Wednesday, the cause of her death being spinal meningitis. The funeral services were conducted at the house Friday afternoon by Rev. Anthony and interment was made in the Oakes Cemetery. Surviving are her mother and father, two brother, Howard and Arthur and three sisters, Anna, Marie and Nona all of Oakes. The deep sympathy of the community is felt for the stricken relatives.
