Crankshaw, Clinton W., 83 of Plantation, FL passed away on Friday, September 26, 2003, in the nursing facility at Covenant Village from complications of ALS (Lou Gherigs Disease). He formerly lived in Largo, FL, and Englishtown, NJ. He is survived by his wife, 3 sons, 3 daughters, 21 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters, and 3 sisters. Mr. Crankshaw was born in Mayville, MI and served in the US Naval Air force during WWII where he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and 4 Air Medals. The Crankshaw family will receive guests at the funeral home Wednesday, October 1, from 10 - 12 PM with the funeral service beginning at 12 PM. Entombment will follow. Arrangements entrusted to Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 SW 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL. 33317, 954-792-9360, www.mem.com.
