Roy Beale was married and divorced to Marie Patrick but did not have any children born to this marriage (incorrect, ref Oregon State Archives, 18 Oct 1911, Portland Deaths, Vol 8
"Beale, infant (f) of Ray C & Marie (Patrick)"). In the 1930's Roy worked for a circus, cooking when the circus came to Portland. He always got free passes for his niece and nephews, the children of sister Lena.
Lena and Roy were always very close, he was the oldest in the family and she the youngest. Her children all grew up loving Uncle Roy even though he had quite a drinking problem.
He passed away just a month before Lena, they being the last two of the four children of Charles and Sarah Jane Beale. Lena's children all agreed to honor their Mother's request and place Uncle Roy's remains in the same niche with Lena and thier parents in the Lower Lily room of the Portland Memorial Crematorium in Portland, OR
