Julius and Maude were married Jan 27, 1909 in Umatilla Co, OR, possibly while Maude's parents, Charles and Sarah Beale, were cattle ranching there. Note 1885 birth of Maude in Pilot Rock, Umatilla Co, OR. Was this in "Beale Canyon"?

Maude and Julius Wittock owned the IXL Shell station located on the corner of SE 30th and Stark in Portland during the depression. It was the largest station in the Portland area and they did very well. They did not have any surviving children, both Donald b.1914 and Helen b. 1916, died as infants. Maude and Julius were very firm Christian Scientists never going to a Dr for their ills or injuries.
