Leona "Irene" Coram was born 12 Nov 1918 in Harmon, Ellis County, Oklahoma; one of twelve children born to Albert Millican "Corm" and Mary Caldona "Dona" (Derrick) Coram.

Irene was united in marriage in 10 Dec 1936 in Woodward, Oklahoma with Earl Edmond Kelly; son of William E. and Irene J. (Custer) Kelly.

Irene and Earl were the parents of five children: Gerry, Patsy, Carl, Myrl, and Lynn.

Irene passed away 01 Feb 2000 in Wichita, Sedwick County, Kansas. She was laid to rest in Round Mound Cemetery, Cedar Vale, Chatauqua, Kansas.

Kelly, Irene (Coram), 81, homemaker, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000. Service 2 p.m. Saturday, First Baptist Church of Cedar Vale.

Survivors: husband, Earl; sons, Carl of Peck, Myrl of Wichita, Lynn of Grenola; daughter, Patsy Johnson of Storrs, Conn.; sister, Fern Billings of Vici, Okla.; 18 grandchildren; seven great-granchildren. Memorial has been established with First Baptist Church of Cedar Vale, First Baptist Church of Sedan and Wauneta United Methodist Church.
