Rudolph Immigrated to the U.S. (Texas) from Bradowin, Brandenburg, Prussia in 1884. He first settled in the Wiedeville community, Washington Co., Texas were he was an indentured servant to his brothers, Edward and Karl Roesler. He married Anna Mussyal in Immamual Lutheran Church, (Wiedeville) on January 1, 1891. He acquired a farm in Wiedeville and the first nine children were born there. They moved to Needville, Ft. Bend Co., Texas in the Fall of 1906. They had 13 children; of which 11 survived. He died at home in Needville, Texas in 1944. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
